Bold Athlete
As a part of Bold Athlete comprehensive training program, athletes are recommended to meet with our partnered medical clinic physician for pre-training medical examination and a ‘meet and greet’.
- This medical visit is not mandatory.
- It is 100% the athletes’ decision to share results with the coach.
- The initial visit may be as short as 5 minutes or up to 30 minutes if you have pre-existing injuries or concerns to discuss.
- Only muscle skeletal conditions specific to your sports training will be addressed. All other health concerns need to be seen by your own family doctor.
- This service is covered by AHS – there is no fee to you.
- Should the doctor recommend treatment modalities such as physiotherapy or chiropractic’s. There is a fee for other services. Is there an obligation to seek treatment at Velocity Clinic? There is no obligation to seek treatment at Velocity Clinic. You may choose to go anywhere for treatments.
